Casa de Las Mobulas

We enjoyed our stay here and my family enjoyed coming back here each day. The property is suitable for two groups of friends or a family. There are two bedrooms, each located in separate parts of the property.What we liked:- Seating areas: There were plenty of comfortable seating areas to relax, read a book, chat, eat, and even a hammock for a snooze.- Pool: small, but big enough for us. Deep and a welcome respite from the heat.- Internet: Fast and reliable.- Aircon: Baja California Sur is hot. I am glad the property provides effective cooling so we could have a good night sleep.- BBQ: We used it a number of times. There is a firepit too, but we didn't get around to using it. We had enough heat during the day!- Garden: Beautifully maintained and just a pleasure to be in.- Architecture: As with the garden, the house itself is beautiful.- Paddle boards: We loved taking these out for a paddle.Areas for improvement:Kitchen: The kitchen was not well set up for a long term stay. The knives were dull, chopping boards small and dirty, limited pots and pans, missing lids, and just not well set up for cooking.Location: You'll need a car or ATV to go anywhere. We expected that and had a car, but it's something to keep in mind. The nearby beach is a 2 min walk, but very rocky and hard to get in and out of for all ages. You'll need to drive to visit sandy beaches, restaurants, groceries stores etc. Positively, this means it is very peaceful.

Mobulas is ideal for two people or two couples. It has a well outfitted kitchen, great Wi-Fi, two comfortable houses with plenty of outdoor spaces and a deck up above to look at the stars. The small pool is comfortable, the landscaping is interesting and well kept. Now there is even a very nice restaurant,Last Resort, close to the house. The hosts are responsive. Great place.
